A Fresh Start
. We are the Powers family ....Jay and Stacey and our 6 children...Taylor, CJ, Jessica, Cameron, Morgan and Chase. Our first taste of Great Harvest was in Ogden, Utah in 1996 . There was a location right in our Neighborhood and we absolutely fell in love with the bread sending it to friends and family for Holidays. We knew right then that someday we wanted to make others smile everytime they took a bite just like we did. So in 2008 we put took our 20+ years of Food and Hospitality Service(and before we got to old to do it) and bought the franchise rights to South Hill, Puyallup and then the existing Sand Point Way location in Seattle. We have lived in South Hill for 10 years and absolutely love being a part of the community and feel that the Great Harvests Business model of having fun and giving generously will be welcomed by all our friends and neighbors, Stacey runs the South Hill location. Jay runs the Sand Point Way location and is thrilled to be part of that community and back where he lived as a child, while his Father was getting his PHD (and Masters) at the University of Washington his family lived right down the street at the Sand Point Apts and then later right on 50th and he has many fond memories of his childhood that involve the neighborhood and crashing his bike riding up and down the hills. | | |
Our family is thrilled to bring you all Great Harvest Bread and Sweets and just know you will love them, we also carry the full line of Peets Coffee and Lattes as well as the "Best Sandwich in Town" along with a variety of specialty Soups for a great all around lunch or dinner. We invite everyone to stop in either location for a free slice of bread. Enjoy it just by itself or slather it up with butter and honey, either way it will make your day better and we love to be part of that.
